In case you have not seen this yet, you should check out Jorge Garcia's (aka Hurley) blog. He seems really cool and down-to-earth for being one of the stars of the greatest show that has ever been made in the history all of mankind. You can check it out here. Week Five

I am now finished with week 5 of the semester. 1/3 of my final semester as an undergrad is now over. I have submitted my application to grad school and have started posturing myself to apply for teaching jobs. (by that I mean trying to get my name out there.) I have finished everything I need to do to graduate and am starting to make the plans for the graduation and huge party afterword. I am getting so excited! I feel like this is such a big accomplishment for myself and I feel like this is going to be the second biggest day of my life (the first is, of course, my wedding day.) Week Two

I wanted to post about what it takes to be a historian and to study history. The historian's craft is not for the weak-of-heart. It takes someone who likes to read and who is dedicated enough to be able to go through massive amounts of literature. It is not easy to be a historian. (not that I'm calling myself a historian, at this point I am merely a student of history) I am going to do this at different points throughout the semester, but here are my stats for week 2:

Papers written - 2 (9 pages total)
