I hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. For our Christmas, we went to visit my dad and his wife on the 23rd. We had a nice Christmas dinner and nice gift exchange. Then, we headed up to Simi on Christmas Eve for my side of the family. We had a wonderful time celebrating Eli's first Christmas and Eli got more stuff than I could have imagined. He has enough newborn toys to make any other kid jealous. Then we spent Christmas day with Michelle's side. Again, more amazing toys for Eli and a bunch of nice clothes. Then we left nice and early (6:00 am) on the 26th for San Francisco to visit Michelle's extended family who live up north. It was a really fun trip. On Saturday, we visited a nineteenth century gun encampment right next to Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39 and Chinatown. Then on Sunday, we spent the morning with Michelle's family. Then, this past week, Eli has been working on a cold. It started as a cold, but we took him into the doctor and was diagnosed with bronchiolitis. So we have had him on an albuterol nebulizer since Thursday. He is getting much better, but still has to deal with a little cough and congestion. But now, he is developing a rash on his face and back. We are taking him into the doctor tomorrow to check it out. It's been one thing after another with him and I am just really sad that he has to go through all this so early in life. Hopefully it will just make his immune system stronger for when he gets sick later in life. Here are some pics of the past couple weeks.
